Ingredients: Paprika, allspice, black pepper, coriander, cardamom, fenugreek, garlic, chilli pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg or mace, ginger, nigella seed, basil, onion powder, turmeric, caraway seed, *Ethiopian korarima (Ethiopian cardamom), celery seed, ruta, thyme.

Dishes: Doro wat (Ethiopian inspired berbere chicken), mixed beans seasoned with berbere, yebeg alicha (Ethiopian lamb stew *mild), sega wat (Ethiopian beef stew *spicy), misir wat (Ethiopian red lentil stew), ye’ abesha gomen or simply gomen (Ethiopian collard greens), zigni (Eritrean inspired beef stew), tsebhi sega (Eritrean spicy minced meat).
